Booking

Check-in and check-out times

Our standard check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Early check-in may be possible, subject to availability.

To ensure your room is ready upon arrival, we recommend reserving the room one night in advance.

Yes, you are welcome to note your preferences; however, room assignments are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Do the rates include breakfast?

Yes, all room rates include daily breakfast.

Is it cheaper to book directly with the hotel?

Generally, yes. Booking directly through our official website offers the best available rates and greater flexibility regarding your reservation (subject to booking terms).

Safety Tip: To ensure your reservation is secured, we recommend avoiding unusually cheap rates on third-party sites. These listings are often unverified, and we cannot guarantee that your booking details will be safely received by the hotel.

Tax Invoice

The hotel can provide a Full Tax Invoice (Paper Format) only for bookings made directly with us.

If you booked through an Online Travel Agency (OTA) such as Agoda, Booking.com, or Expedia, please contact their customer service team directly to request your invoice. The hotel is legally unable to issue tax invoices for third-party bookings.

Note: We currently do not support e-Tax Invoices or e-Receipts.

Rooms

Elderly & Wheelchair-accessible rooms

Recommended room types for elderly guests, wheelchair users, or those with mobility challenges:

  1. Deluxe Clifftop — Building C only (same building as breakfast restaurant)

  2. Reserve Beachfront — Building A, rooms 1101–1107 (ground floor) and rooms 1301–1303 (lobby floor)

  3. Reserve Ocean — Building E, rooms 6101–6104 (ground floor)

  4. Reserve Suite — Building E, room 6105 (ground floor)

Important: When booking, please indicate in the Special Request field that a guest is elderly or uses a wheelchair, and specify a ground-floor room. This allows us to prepare a suitable room and ensure a comfortable stay.

Is Wi-Fi available at the resort?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms and select public areas.

What is the electrical voltage, and are adapters available?

The standard voltage in all guest rooms is 220V. Please ensure your personal devices are compatible.

Universal adapters are available upon request — up to two per room, per stay. Kindly return them at checkout; a THB 500 replacement fee applies for any lost or damaged adapters.

Can I cook or reheat food in my room?

For safety and to prevent lingering odors, cooking and reheating food are not permitted inside the guest rooms. Our rooms are not equipped for cooking, and the use of external electric stoves or heating appliances is strictly prohibited.

Policies

Smoking

All guest rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking, in accordance with Thai law.

Cigarettes are permitted only in designated outdoor areas and on room balconies. The use of marijuana or cannabis is permitted only in a specially designated area. Any violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee or further penalties as applicable.

Can I contact the hotel via WhatsApp or Line?

We are happy to assist you through Facebook Messenger, Webchat, and Email.

Flying drone

In Thailand, all unmanned aerial systems — including drones and radio-controlled aircraft — must be registered with the Thai authorities The safety and privacy of our guests is our highest priority; therefore, the use of drones by guests is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved by our management team.

Medical emergency

In any emergency, please contact our front desk (dial "0") immediately. A first aid responder is available on call 24 hours a day.

For minor injuries, we provide on-site first aid assistance in your room. For more serious medical situations, we can arrange transport to the nearest international clinic or Koh Chang Hospital.

Pets

To ensure the comfort and hygiene of all our guests, the hotel maintains a strict no-pets policy throughout the premises. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Dining reservation

To reserve a table at Sunset Beach Restaurant, please dial '1910' from your in-room phone or contact the Front Desk (dial '0') for assistance. Please note that Sylvie Cafe and The Clifftop (Breakfast) operate on a walk-in basis and do not accept reservations.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Guests are welcome to enjoy outside food and beverages in the privacy of their rooms, with the following exceptions:

  • Strong-smelling items: Foods with a strong odor (e.g., durian) are strictly prohibited.

  • No Cooking: Cooking or reheating food in the room is not allowed.


In Restaurants & Bars: Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the hotel's dining outlets.

  • Corkage Fee: If you wish to bring your own alcoholic beverages to consume in our restaurants, a corkage fee of THB 500 per bottle will apply.

Is there a spa and gym on-site?

Yes, our gym is located on the 2nd floor of the Beachfront building (Building B), and the Rainforest Spa is situated opposite the lobby.

Parking

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available for all hotel guests.

Please be sure to lock your vehicle — the hotel cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Currency Exchange

We do not offer currency exchange on-site; however, exchange services are available at the nearby Kai Bae village centre. A complimentary shuttle service to Kai Bae is provided — please refer to our Shuttle Service schedule for details.

Activities

When is the best time of year to visit Koh Chang?

Koh Chang is a wonderful destination year-round. From November to April, you can expect clear skies and warm sunshine — ideal for beach activities. From May to October, the island reveals its lush green landscape, and the waterfalls are at their most spectacular.

Do I need any vaccinations before travelling to Koh Chang?

Koh Chang does not require specific vaccinations for entry. Mosquito-borne illnesses such as dengue exist at low levels in the region, so we recommend bringing insect repellent and applying it at dusk and dawn.

If you have specific health concerns, we recommend consulting your local travel clinic for personalised advice before your trip.

How do I get to Koh Chang?

You can reach Koh Chang by ferry from Trat province. Visit our location page for ferry schedules and transfer options.

Excursion trips

Absolutely. Our front desk, will be happy to assist you with booking tours and activities during your stay.

Car or motorbike rental

We can arrange chauffeur-driven cars, available by the hour or by the day.

Rental of cars and motorbikes from third-party suppliers is also available through our Front Desk.
